It is a privilege to live in stable conditions where basic needs are available, support systems exist, and opportunities are determined by creativity and ambition rather than systemic social or physical inequalities of opportunity…
…many do not enjoy this privilege.
So, we partner with organizations and causes focused on removing structural barriers in society and donate a progressive share of our gross profit to support their cause.
This is our Dividend to Society program.
HOW IT WORKS.
We carefully select the partners for our Dividend to Society program based on a set of criteria.
In order to be eligible, partners must:
Address a demonstrable and clearly defined systemic issue in (its) society;
Focus predominantly on resolving the root cause(s) of the systemic issue;
Have broad community support and involvement.
Examples of eligible partners include (amongst others):
Schools or extra-curricular societies in disadvantaged neighbourhoods;
Organizations focused on raising awareness of a healthy lifestyle; or
Institutions supporting marginalized communities in gaining access to financial services.
